I've been tying flies and fly fishing for as long as I can remember, over 20 years I guess. I moved to Fort Myers FL in 2003 for the fishing. I just could not take New Jersey anymore and the company I was working for needed a Florida office. Long story short, I went solo somewhere along the way, and eight long years in the Mortgage and Title Insurance business was plenty! My true love and life's passion is fly fishing and actually is the main reason for my seeking a change of careers. I enjoy both inshore and offshore fishing and have been fly-fishing and tying flies for the last 20 years. I pride myself on my tying techniques, light tackle rigging ability, knot knowledge, and am always looking for new fly patterns, techniques, and skills. I have come to the realization that if I am going to be focusing all of my time and energy on fly fishing that I might as well take the next step and marry my passion with my career. So... I got certified with the Federation of Fly Fishers as a Casting Instructor and have started teaching fly casting. Sharing my passion by teaching the rest of the sport was the next logical step.
